Certification

The characteristics of MOSTRO brand valves and the production process are in accordance with international standards and fully comply with the legislative requirements and regulations governing the safety of pressure equipment

The company creates the conditions necessary to meet the specific requirements of EN ISO 9001:2015 by all organizations involved in the nuclear supply chain that provide products and services important to nuclear safety.

The design of MOSTRO a.s. valves, including valves intended for conventional power engineering, offers a high degree of safety and long-term operational reliability, and meets the requirements of the Czech legislative regulations, i.e. Act No. 263/2015 Coll., the Atomic Act, SÚJB Decree No. 358/2015 Coll. defining requirements on quality assurance and technical safety, and assessment and verification of conformity of selected equipment, as well as SÚJB Decree No. 408/2015 Coll., defining requirements on management system, SÚJB Decree No. 329/2017 Coll., Government Regulation No. 219/2015 Coll., and the laws defined in the Slovak Republic, specifically UJD SR Decree No. 430/2011 Coll., UJD SR Decree No. 431/2011 Coll., MPSVaR Decree No. 508/2009 Coll., and normative technical documentation of the Association of Mechanical Engineers (NDT A.S.I.) for the use in nuclear power plants with VVER type reactors.

Manufacturing processes and welding operations are certified according to EN ISO 3834-2. Welding supervisors are assigned with responsibilities in accordance with EN ISO 14731 and are tested and certified by the European Welding Federation EWF. Welding staff and welding technologies are certified according to EN ISO 9606-1, EN ISO 14732 and PED. Welding defect detection employees are tested and certified according to EN ISO 9712 in all used methods, and they meet the requirements of the European Pressure Equipment Directive No. 2014/68 / EU (PED) and Russian standards PNAE G.

MOSTRO a.s. has a wide range of product certifications. Certificates of individual types of valves are issued in accordance with the European Pressure Equipment Directive or Government Regulation No. 219/2015 Coll. (SZÚ s. p.).

The process of certification of selected valves with regard to OIAE for deliveries to the Russian Federation is currently under way, as to the Ukraine too.

Systematic work on customer certification process allows us to participate in tenders announced for power companies belonging to the ČEZ Group, Czech Republic. This is possible due to the renewal of our qualified supplier status. Based on a successful customer audit which took place in September 2018, we are authorized to deliver products to Slovak power plants, including nuclear power plants. Also, we are a qualified supplier for Russian companies Atomstroyexport and Rosatom.
